Huawei Mate 10 spotted in action
The Huawei Mate 10 is a little tease. Today we have seen another shot of the upcoming handset.
We have been up close and personal with its camera, we’ve even seen impressive renders and purported leaks.
Well, today we have a picture of what looks to be Hauwei’s latest in hand.
The new device is apparently codenamed Marcel and is set to see its official debut on October 16th.
Recently, the alleged Huawei Mate 10 was spotted giving us a glimpse of how the handset may look like when it launches.
What are we looking at?
The image reveals the big screened device sporting extremely thin bezel.s, and best of all, there’s no home button on the device. This isn’t new for Huawei as the previous iteration of the handset had no physical buttons, not even the Mate S which was launched a few years back.
The eagle-eyed amongst you will have also spotted the option to hide the on-screen buttons. This will ensure you get the full screen real-estate as much as possible.
Spec
Rumors suggests that the device will come with a 6.3-inch display sporting a resolution of 2960 by 1440 pixels resolution.
It will get pushed along by a 4,000mAh battery. Snaps are taken care of by a 20MP+12MP on the back.
The Kirin 970 processor paired with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage will round up the important bits.
The handset is expected to come with that edge-to-edge display.
One slight sticking point is that it could break the $1000 mark, along with Apple, when it officially launches later this year.
Rumors also suggest that there will be a Pro version of the handset as well.
The handset will launch on October 16th so stay tuned.
