JBL Clip rugged portable Bluetooth speaker lands in UK
JBL has got a new speaker aimed at those who want to listen to their music on the go: the JBL Clip.
The compact speaker features a built-in carabiner clip (hence its name) so you can attach it to your bag, belt loop or any other attachment point you fancy dangling it from.
The Clip is powered by a rechargeable battery which will provide five hours of tunes on a full charge, and the built-in Bluetooth 4.0 means you can stream music from any Bluetooth-enabled device.
Not only that, the JBL Clip also comes with JBL’s SoundClear Echo Cancellation Speakerphone System and backlit controls so you can even make clear, hands-free wireless phone conferencing while you’re out and about.
The Clip is protected by a double injection housing which should mean that it is more than capable of shrugging off any small knocks and drops.
The JBL Clip will arrive in five colours, black, blue, purple, grey and red. It will have a ticket price of £39.99 when it lands in the UK in mid-August and will be available from Currys, John Lewis, Amazon UK and the JBL website.
I hope to get some time with one so I can say more about its sound skills.
