HTC M7 flagship phone specs revealed – successor to the One X
Details have been leaked on the successor to HTC’s rather spanky One X smartphone – the HTC M7.
Word on the web has the HTC M7 packing a 4.7-inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, and it will land running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
Under the hood of the HTC M7 will be a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, clocked at 1.7GHz, mated with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of built in storage.
Other specifications on the HTC M7 include the expected dual cameras – the front facing 2 megapixel camera which is capable of full HD video in 1080p, and a rear facing 13 megapixel camera with an f/2.0 lens.
The improved main image sensor, dubbed Cinesensor, promises both increased image quality and improved features such as super slow-mo and video HDR.
You will find the usual array of lovliness but the M7 will also boast support for the next-generation Wi-Fi standard, 802.11ac, whose theoretical throughput is three times that of 802.11n WLAN networks. Speedy!
According to @evleaks, the HTC M7 will be available on Verizon and Sprint, there are no details as yet on when it will be available in the UK and how much it will cost.
