Samsung Galaxy S4, Note 3 and more getting KitKat update
Samsung has announced that it will start rolling out the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update to a number of its devices, and the availability of the update will vary by device and carrier.
The update will start squirting over to the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the Galaxy Note 3, and a number of other devices will join them over the coming months.
Android 4.4 KitKat will also land on the Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy S4 Mini, Galaxy S4 Zoom, Galaxy S4 Active, the Galaxy S3 and the Galaxy S3 Mini.
The update will also be made available for the Galaxy Mega, Galaxy Light, Galaxy Note 8.0, Galaxy Tab 3, Galaxy Note 10.1 and the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition.
As yet there are no details on which devices will get the update first, and it will all depend on the various mobile carriers, you can check to see if the update is available from the settings menu.
