LG G4 priced to challenge Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge
There’s not much left that we don’t already know about the next flagship smartphone from LG, the G4 – except the price. Well, it looks like we might have that too.
The LG G4 is to be made official on April 28th but there already has been leaks aplenty.
LG will start selling the handset in South Korea on April 29th and there is even a video showing the craftmanship that goes in to the leather cover.
Now, according to a recent report, the LG G4 price looks as though it will actually be higher than the Samsung Galaxy S6 smartphone but lower than the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.
Yup, LG appears to be aiming their new G4 between Samsung’s latest and greatest.
LG have apparently started taking pre-orders for the LG G4 in South Korea with some of the major mobile carriers, these carriers are saying that the price of the handset is $825.
Accoridng to an LG executive the company has not decided the final LG G4 price and this will be unveiled at LG’s media event later this month.
The LG G4 is apparently designed to compete with the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, rather than the Galaxy S6, hence the pricing.
Would you get a G4 if you were considering the S6 Edge?
