Rollei launches 4K recording Actioncam 500 Sunrise
Following their very capable and keenly priced Actioncam 400 iconic German camera brand, Rollei, has launched the latest in its action camcorder range with the new Actioncam 500 Sunrise.
This latest Rollei camcorder captures video at 4K and promises smooth, high resolution video recording at up to 15 frames per second for 4K and up to 30 frames per second in 2.7K.
The camera has a recording angle of 136 degrees, ensuring all wide angle action is captured. The Actioncam 500 Sunrise is perfectly designed for a huge variety of extreme outdoor activities, boasting water resistance up to 10m without needing an additional waterproof case, as well as surviving being dropped from up to 1.5m.

The action camcorder also offers a time-lapse function with up to 60 second intervals, as well as a burst mode to allow users to capture three, five or ten images per second. The built-in WiFi has a range of up to 40m, allowing photographers to download recorded videos and photos directly to their smartphone or tablet using the Rollei app.

The Rollei Actioncam 500 Sunrise comes with a camera frame holder, a standard holder, stand adapter and adhesive pads, as well as a replaceable and rechargeable Lithium-ion battery which supports up to 120 minutes of recording time. A bright, anti-glare OLED display also helps users to select the numerous options available.
