LG G3 smartphone release date officially confirmed
LG has released its quarterly financial results which has also revealed its confirmation of the G3 flagship handset due out in the next few months.
The LG G3 is actually named in the document as the next flagship handset which is expected to improve device sales when it goes on sale in the second quarter. That means we will see the handset anytime between now and the end of June.
The exact wording found in the third paragraph of the report is:
“Higher revenues are expected in the second quarter with the release of the flagship LG G3 smartphone.”
The LG G3 has been leaked already (apparently) and has shown off a newly designed set of back buttons along with a new sensor that could be used to improve the camera. The alleged leaked pic is the one you can see above.
Other leaked specs suggest a 5.5-inch Quad HD display meaning a 2560 x 1440 resolution for 534ppi, OIS+ camera, 3GB of RAM, 16GB and 32GB storage options, a polycarbonate build and microSD slot.
