Nokia Lumia 710 lands in UK in February – Budget 800
Nokia certainly has a winner with their Nokia Lumia 800 Windows phone and now the UK is set to have the equally lovely, retrotastic Lumia 710 in a few weeks.
Nokia has announced tha the Lumia 710 Windows Phone 7 handset will be released in the UK on February 1st 2012.
The new 3.7 inch device runs Windows 7.5 Mango and is set to come in at around half the price of the swanky Lumia 800 – which must be a good thing looking at the people that have said the Lumia 800 is overpriced.
That doesn’t mean that Nokia has skimped on the tech though. The Lumia 710 is packing 512MB of RAM, an LED flash-equipped 5 mexapixel camera, and will be available in no less than six different colours at launch.
Nokia states that “The colourful and affordable Nokia Lumia 710 is a no-nonsense smartphone that brings the Lumia experience to more people around the world”.
The Finnish phone company also announced that it had shifted 1 million Lumia 800 handsets in Q4 2011, doubling analysts’ estimations and paving its way into the smartphone race. Impressive.
So – are you going to buy the Nokia Lumia 710 with its colourful, swappable backs?
