HTC Rhyme UK Release – Princes Perfect Purple Phone

The new HTC mobile phone, has just been revealed by Verizon – it’s purple and is called Rhyme.

The phone previously known as Bliss is a Gingerbread touting 3.7-inch screen equipped mobile with a 5MP camera but that’s all by-the-by really.

The HTC Rhyme looks like pretty much any and every HTC handset that has landed in the last 12 months or so – ignoring its Prince-tastic purpleness.

What it does have is the new version of HTC’s lovely Sense UI but then there’s more….

The Rhyme will have a slew of accessories!

The new HTC will have its own docking station, tangle free headphones and even a charm that alerts you to incoming calls, Bluetooth headset, sports armband, car speaker and a natty leather pouch.

“HTC Rhyme represents an entirely new approach, based on recognition that there is a substantial group of consumers who want their phones to be more personal and complimentary to every moment of their day,” said Scott Croyle, vice president of design, HTC Corporation. “HTC Rhyme is focused on delivering this through a fresh new style and experience that includes a family of innovative accessories like the HTC Rhyme Charm and Docking Station that are meant to naturally integrate into people’s lives.”

Our US cousins will be able to get all this from September 29 at a cost of US$200 on a two-year contract where as we in the UK will be able to join in on October 17th as an O2 exclusive for around £125.
