JBL OnBeat Micro and Venue LT Lightning speaker docks UK price
JBL has announced two new speaker docks which will play nice with all new iDevices and their Lightning connectors – from the iPhone 5, iPad 4, iPod Touch 5G and iPad Mini.
JBL’s new Lightning docking speakers have just been announced and will no doubt be welcomed by those of you that has recently bought an iPhone 5, iPod Touch 5G, or an iPad Mini or 4.
Up top you can see the JBL OnBeat Micro.
This battery-powered dock will dish out your tunes wherever you want to share your music. It comes equipped with an in-built USB connector so you can charge and play other devices too.
Its size lends itself perfectly to the iPhone 5 and new iPod Touch.
There is also a free companion music app for customised playlists, volume adjustment and album artwork browsing.
If you’re looking for a more stationary speaker dock then check out the JBL OnBeat Venue LT.
The larger of the new Lightning-friendly docks is perhaps more suited to the iPad Mini and iPad 4.
The Venue LT is packing Bluetooth support for up to eight devices which means there’s wireless streaming a go-go. This will also work with that free app mentioned above.
The JBL OnBeat Micro can be snapped up for £80, while the Venture LT can be yours for £200.
When you consider that the Lightning adapter costs £25, these aren’t bad prices really.
