Galaxy A8 is the thinnest Samsung phone yet
Do you dig Samsung mobile phones but only wish they were a lot thinner? Perhaps you should let the Galaxy A8 in to your life?
The Samsung Galaxy A8 might not get props for being the thinnest phone in the world but it’s by no means chunky.
The 5.9mm thin Galaxy A8 sports an all-metal build, 5.7-inch 1080p AMOLED screen and 4G connectivity. Under the hood is a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor and 2GB of RAM.
Granted, the skinny A8 is equipped to be pretty mid-range but, unlike the Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, and upcoming Galaxy Note 5, you can boost the standard 16GB storage thanks to its microSD slot.
An 8MP rear camera, a generous 3050mAh battery and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop round off the phone’s spec list.
Now that I’ve potentially got you all wound up to buy a Galaxy A8 you’d better factor in a trip to China, where it’s available to pre-order in white, black or gold.
There’s no word on UK pricing or release dates. I’m sure if enough of you want one Sammy might see fit to send its size 0 A8 over here.
