HTC One M9 specs and offical photos leak
The HTC One M9 has been a leaky little mobile with HTC sending decoys out and then leaking it themselves on their website. Now, the latest leak, apparently shows the upcoming M9 in two lovely finishes.
Mobile Geeks have come across online listings of HTC’s new flagship, which is expected to be called the One M9 (without the brackets seen on the One (M8), for example), that spills the beans on spec, price and design.
The HTC One M9 spec list is pretty much the same we have all pawed over before. There’s the tasty 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM, linked to 32GB of storage plus a boost via microSD expansion.
The M9 will still pack HTC’s UltraPixel camera but this time it will be for selfies as the rear snapper will feature a new 20-megapixel sensor, housed inside a camera module that protrudes slightly from the phone’s body.
Android 5.0 Lollipop is listed as the operating system, skinned with the new Sense 7 user interface.
I have to say that I am particularly drawn to the new, premium-looking gold and silver two-tone finish. The more stealthy gunmetal grey does look cooly understated though.
Naturally the BoomSound speakers sit top and bottom of the 5-inch 1080p display but there have been some tweaks. For instance, the power button appears to have been moved to the side.
According to the site, the HTC One M9 will be priced at 749 euros in Germany so it will be interesting to see what that translates to once it’s converted to GBP.
The One M9 is set to launch on March 1st during MWC in Barcelona so I’ll be sure to bring you more news as it comes.
