Nexus Marlin and Sailfish specs leaked
I have loved my time with the Huawei-made Nexus 6P but it’s almost time we had some new Nexuses… Nexa?
Well, specs for Marlin and Sailfish have found their way on to the interwebs!
Word on the street is that HTC is charge of two projects, codenamed “Marlin” and “Sailfish”.
Nexus Sailfish
Android Police say that they’re confident that Sailfish will be equipped with a quad-core 64-bit processor clocked at 2GHz paired with 4GB of RAM.
There will be a 5-inch, full HD display, although there’s every chance that it could be loaded with a nattier AMOLED screen.
There’s a 12-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front facer taking care of your snaps and video.
As with the current crop, you’ll find the fingerprint sensor on the back. The speaker/speakers and a USB-C port will be placed at the bottom and a headphone jack up top.
Bluetooth 4.2 is on the device as well as a 32GB of storage.
The lights will be kept on by a 2,770mAh battery.
The as yet unnamed processor could be the Snapdragon 821 that was rumored earlier on this year.
The Sailfish handset also goes by the name of S1 and T50. The 5-0 could well signify the 5-inch screen.
Nexus Marlin
Android Police’s source has continued to blab about the other Nexus phone too!
The 5.5-inch phablet will also be powered by that same quad-core Qualcomm processor with 4GB of RAM.
On-board storage is likely to be either 32 or 128GB of storage.
Fronting the phone is a quad HD AMOLED panel and an 8-megapixel camera. That sounds pretty tasty to me!
Below the 12-megapixel rear camera is the now expected fingerprint sensor.
The Marlin will sport a USB-C port, bottom-firing speakers, Bluetooth 4.2 and a 3,450mAh battery.
Excited?
