I’m still keeping Apple in mind as they do seem to have put thought into the design of their products – my main things against going iPod was the fact that I know a few people that have had to take their Classics back for one reason or another but then after-sales were brilliant so, another plus there. The other factor was I’m not fond of running with the crowd if I can avoid it or unless there’s a good reason.

Put it this way – I’ve started checking on deals for Classics and Touch’s! Yup, I may be tempted away from Creative and to Apple!!

Til then Nokia and Sony PSP will be supplying my mobile choonz :0)

I’ve had an mp3 player for ages, from my little 128meg pen drive one, and I’ve also gone through the phase of using my phone as my player – which is really handy as it means only carrying one around in my pocket – rather than phone, camera, mp3 (how did we ever survive?)

But I’ve recently been given (yes given) an old Ipod 4gig, up till now the apple brand has been greated with a big fat “meah!” by me – I’m neither for them or against them. But I have to say, I’m really hooked – I hardly ever use my phone anymore (for music).

The build quality and design is spot on, even things not normally considered like the quality of the headphones is impressive. Although I have replaced mine with some sony overhead ones cus I can’t keep the inner ear ones in when running (or walking).

But I’m an apple fan simply because they deliver what the user needs – wifi would be a useful addition but then again I prefer to be in control of what I put on my player – the idea of it going an automatically syncing doesn’t seem right to me.

Cheers

Dean
