LG EA93 21:9 monitor does away with the need for four screens
If, like me, you rely on using multiple screens to keep track of everything you’re doing then you may welcome the 21:9 LG EA93 monitor in to your life.
LG claims their new EA93 monitor to be the first to pack a 21:9 aspect ratio which should help cut your desk clutter.
The monitor runs an eye-pleasing resolution of 2560 x 1080 and, to aid the multitasking, you can split that bad boy four ways and have four different things running from four separate sources at the same time if you so desire.
The EA93 comes complete with two 7W speakers. How the sound source is selected is not clear.
The IPS panel should have excellent viewing angels and there is no end of ports. Dual-link DVI (necessary to drive all the extra pixels), DisplayPort and HDMI ports are all present at the back, as is 3 USB3 ports.
I’m guessing that the LG EA93 will cost the same as two or three decently spec’d monitors – but just take up less room.
I still wouldn’t mind one 🙂
