Terraillon shows London HOMNI and R-LINK at Exclusively Housewares

Terraillon unveils all-new ranges of kitchen accessories and cutting-edge connected wellbeing devices at the Exclusively Housewares exhibition. The show takes place today and tomorrow (Stand number 337) at the Business Design Centre in London.

Terraillon might not be quite the household name in the UK just yet. But, founded in 1908, the company has been a leading innovative houseware brand, present in more than 80 countries. It designs and manufactures appliances “which exceed consumer expectations” in health and well-being.

Taking advantage of the latest technologies, Terraillon creates cutting-edge smart and connected health-focused devices. These range from bathroom, medical and kitchen scales to activity trackers and blood pressure monitors.

As well as some new kitchen utensils and accessories, Terraillon are also showing a couple of smart devices that have caught my eye.

HOMNI: the smart sleep solution

HOMNI is an intelligent lamp that packs four sensors and promotes healthy sleep.

It achieves this through adapted light cycles and ambient sounds to help users wake up and fall asleep gently.

HOMNI features programmes like ‘Sleep’, ‘Wake up’, ‘Relaxation’ and ‘Nap’.

Connected to the new Terraillon dedicated app, HOMNI analyses temperature, light, humidity and noise level of the room environment to provide users with tips to achieve a good night’s sleep.

Another unique feature is that it allows music streaming via Bluetooth.

For a complete solution, two kinds of sleep sensors will be available

Dot

This button-shaped sensor is placed under the your pillow. It then gives automatic and accurate analysis of sleep cycles and duration of your kip.

Rest-On

Comes as a belt sensor which also analyses heart and respiratory rates.

R-LINK: world’s thinnest connected bathroom scale

This ultra-slim (12.5mm) connected scale packs essential features to help users track weight-loss.

Firstly, it features BodySense technology, which calculates weight/body composition.

Thanks to its Bluetooth function, it automatically synchronises the collected data with the Wellness Coach app.

These smart scales feature a large glass platform (302 x 302 mm), and a clear LCD screen display.

R-LINK can be connected up to 8 smartphones and tablets simultaneously with SmartConnect. This makes it convenient for families. Perhaps some friendly and healthy challenges are in order?

R-LINK is part of the new R-SERIES range. This includes R-COACH (a non-connected weight and diet focused weighing scale) and R-COLOR (a non-connected color coded weighing scale which tracks weight changes and BMI).
