New Smarter Coffee hitting UK – voice, app, geo-controlled caffeine machine

My mornings are timed to military precision. Unfortunately, breakfast and, more importantly, my first coffee has to wait until I am in the office. If only there was a way of automating my first brew(s). If only there was a Smarter Coffee.

Smarter Coffee takes any work out of making the perfect cup of coffee by grinding the beans and getting your personalised pot ready for you whenever you need that sweet, sweet caffeine.

Through the Smarter app, you can fresh grind and brew coffee from anywhere. Not only that, you can adjust brew strength, temperature and quantity.

Alexa. Coffee.

Sometimes even using an app is too much. Thankfully, a voice command to Amazon’s Alexa or Google Home can also start your clever coffee brewing.

Other smart home devices can also be connected to Smarter products. By creating applets using automation service IFTTT (If This Then That) you can integrate it with a variety of other smart home devices –  for example Philips Hue Lights. So, when the kitchen lights turn on, your coffee starts to brew.
