I did enjoy blatting about on the Micro Scooter e-Micro but there are alternatives. Mercane has just introduced its 3-wheel Kickscooters.

If you are looking for affordable personal mobility transporters, then there’s no shortage of choice.

Mercane Wheels has unveiled its version 2.0 of the Transboard, an eco-friendly 3-wheel electric kickscooter.

Mercane Wheels is an expert R&D and manufacturing company building various types of personal mobility products that move by electric power.

The Transboard claims to be able to transport riders up to 25 miles on a single charge. Ideal for the week’s pre and post-station commute.

The Transboard is equipped with a plethora of features that will help to redefine user safety and comfort. This apparently stands whether you’re commuting within the city or on heading out on dirt roads in the countryside. The Transboard boasts that it will be able to handle it.

Kitted out with an aluminium alloy frame, a polycarbonate cover and an innovative, one-gesture folding system, the Transboard is highly portable whenever you do not use it.

Touted to deliver the best-in-class driving stability and performance thanks to its 3-wheel self-balancing system, L-Double Link suspension and a 500 Watt BLDC HUB Motor.

The Electric Driving Control System and a 48V 8.6Ah battery will ensure that users benefit from stable acceleration and great braking performance. Don’t forget that ability to ride for up to 25 miles on one full charge.

The Transboard features a cool LED Display and all the function buttons look to be easily accessible. LED head and tail lights will ensure safe riding in the evening.

The only downside I can see is that it will take around 6 hours to charge. I am sure your office won’t mind you plugging in during your day job.

The Indiegogo campaign, which has a funding goal of $30,000 USD, features limited Early Bird specials of $499.00 USD (60% off retail) and several other rewards for early backers.
