ROCCAT Kone AIMO
ROCCAT Studios has been in touch about the worldwide availability of the eagerly anticipated Kone AIMO gaming mouse.
Someone else who is celebrating their tenth anniversary is the Kone mouse from ROCCAT.
The original Kone took the gaming scene by storm with the introduction of RGB illumination for peripherals.
So, building on the combined success of its predecessors as well as extensive gamer feedback, the Kone AIMO celebrates its legacy with an exciting feature suite.
Kone AIMO
The mouse debuts AIMO – the eco-system for ROCCAT’s new RGBA lighting engine. I have been told that there will be more products to follow.
AIMO adds to ROCCAT’s existing illumination technologies. This bringns light to life with a first-to-market system that reacts fluidly and organically. Furthermore, it grows based on your gaming behavior and compatible connected devices.
Moreover, this eliminates the need for configuration, it presents state-of-the-art illumination scenarios right out of the box.
Owl-Eye
ROCCAT’s acclaimed Owl-Eye sensor marks its return with the Kone AIMO.
According to the company, this sensor is the most precise and responsive on the market and is based on the renowned PixArt technology. That is taken and modified to ROCCAT’s exacting standards.
Additionally, its dpi is adjustable in 100-dpi steps from 100 up to 12,000. Just so you know, the recommended range for a completely natural feel is from 400 to 3,000.

The main refinement comes in the thumb area. Here you get the addition of two narrow buttons which sit directly above the thumb and one wider button – bound to Easy-Shfit[+] by default – below it. The revised thumb zone allows for intuitive and reflexive button pressing.
Finally, rounding out the feature set, the mouse boasts ROCCAT’s robust and durable 4D Titan Wheel. Also, there’s OMRON switches certified to fifty million clicks and an updated Swarm software system.
Price and availability
