Adam Elements announce premium CASA USB-C cable range

Adam Elements CASAThe CASA adapters and cables allow users of the latest MacBook to connect with their existing USB-A devices, external displays and projectors or even the notebook’s power adapter. Thanks to their premium gold or space grey aluminium design, the CASA adapters are a perfect fit for the latest MacBook – and are an even more appealing alternative to Apple’s own line of white solutions.

I first came to know of Adam Elements when I received the announcement of their rather swish-looking ROMA line, its USB-C dual connector flash drive but the press release landed at a very busy time.

Now, Adam Elements presents another line of premium accessories for the latest MacBook – but, as I own a Nexus 6P which is also packing USB-C, this also of interest to me – The CASA line of adapters and cables allow the notebook’s USB-C port to connect with a variety of devices. The product line includes:

• HDMI and VGA adapters for display output.
• USB-A adapters for use with thousands of existing USB peripherals.
• USB-C cable for charging the notebook’s internal battery or connecting other USB-C devices.

The CASA line’s USB-A-to-USB-C adapters, for example, allow users to hook up a mouse, keyboard, printer or any other peripheral with a standard USB-A connector.

Adam USB C to HDMIHDMI and VGA adapters for USB-C, on the other hand, are perfect for connecting computer monitors, TVs or projectors. The HDMI adapter even supports audio output and 3840 × 2160 video resolutions – that’s 4K UHD. This allows for a huge boost in desktop space at home and in the office, or for presentations at work or university.

The 2-metre long USB-C-to-USB-C cable hooks up the MacBook to its power adapter or to any other USB-C devices, such as external hard drives – that’s convenience extended. Even selected smartphones become part of the act (like the Nexus 6P), with battery charging and data transfers of up to 480 Mbps. It offers integration of the user’s devices by standardising connections.

Adam CASA usb c cableThe USB-C CASA adapters and cables come in an elegant and robust zinc-aluminium design. The gold and space grey options match the colours of the latest MacBook perfectly, making them appealing alternatives to Apple’s own white solutions. But for users who want to spice up their hardware setup with a unique colour, Adam Elements offers the cables in an eye-catching flaming-red version. T

The CASA products are not only attractive, but also functional for an array of environments, with the aluminium casing minimising electromagnetic interference.

The CASA display output adapters and USB-C-to-USB-C cables will be available shortly, directly from the worldwide Adam Store and selected European retailers.
