G.Skill unleashes Trident Z RGB DDR4 RAM kits
G.Skill has just announced their RGB illuminated Trident Z DDR4 memory kits. The prismatic memory modules require no external power or wiring to control their colours.
These new Trident Z RGB kits of DDR4 memory are pegged for release in January 2017.
The kits will be supported by a dedicated software suite for colour customisation and controls.

The memory options for the new kits go up to 4266MHz, with a 10-layer PCB which is designed for overclocking.
Featuring a completely exposed light bar with vibrant RGB LEDs, merged with the award-winning Trident Z heatspreader designed, and constructed with the highest quality components, the Trident Z RGB DDR4 memory kit combines the most vivid RGB lighting with uncompromised performance.”
Until the software is launched, the kits will show a rainbow of colours in a wave effect.

G.Skill’s new RGB kits will also come with a neutral black heatsink. This allows them to match almost any modern motherboard/system.
Personally, I prefer this solution to the usual kits that had large red sections. But then, I have a white / blue colour schemed rig.
