Asus ZenFone AR Project Tango, Daydream VR phone UK price
Asus unveiled their extremely powerful ZenFone AR at CES earlier this year. Now, you can get your mitts on one.
Asus says that the ZenFone AR is the very first device that’s compatible with both Google’s Project Tango augmented reality tech and Daydream VR.
There have been phones that can manage Daydream but this handset can cope with Tango too!
So, if you like your reality virtual, augmented or both, this is probably the best mobile choice for you right now.
ZenFone AR specs
The 5.7-inch phone is packing a a 2,560 x 1,440 Super AMOLED display powered by a Snapdragon 821 processor running at 2.35GHz and 6GB RAM.
Also onboard is an Adreno 530 GPU and 128GB of storage.
Keeping the lights on is a 5,000mAh battery.
Camera
Yes, it’s extremely potent but I find the rear camera the most interesting.
You see, the ZenFone AR’s tri-camera array allows for depth sensing to measure distances between real-world objects.
There’s also motion tracking tech baked-in.

You can also snap images at 23 megapixels and motion tracking.
