Vuze XR camera transforms to shoot VR180 / 360 degree vids

humaneyes vuze xr 360By now you’ve probably happened across some 360 degree video footage on YouTube or Facebook. It’s all very clever stuff. But, what if the camera you’re using could also produce video for VR headsets as well as doing the 360 thing? Well, the new Vuze XR from HumanEyes can do just that.

The Vuze XR is perfect for all of life’s adventures. Capture those memories in stunning 360-degrees (2D) or stereoscopic VR180 (3D), all from one innovative device.

Vuze XR

humaneyes vuze xr 360The new camera has only just been announced so there’s not too many things we know right now.

However, the natty thing about the Vuze XR is that you can exploit the story-telling ability of a full 360° camera, and with a single click, convert to an immersive VR180 format.

humaneyes vuze xr 360This unique dual-camera design makes it portable and simple-to-use. Additionally, it combines two advanced capture systems into one pocketable device. This makes it perfect for content creators looking to enrich their social media feeds. Furthermore, it could even liven up those holiday videos thanks to VR.

We are told that the device can capture 360-degree video at 5.7K (5,720 x 3,016 pixels) in standard mode. This has the two cameras on opposite sides of the grip. Then, at the click of a button, they will flip out for 180-degree stereoscopic VR format. This will allow immersive playback through VR headsets.

Shahar Bin-Nun, CEO of HumanEyes Technologie told us:

The Vuze XR Camera is a must have for anyone with a story or special moment to share, from consumers to prosumers. With powerful 360° and VR180 5.7K camera technology built in, along with instant sharing and a live streaming mode, anyone can enjoy the freedom of shooting their story, the way they want. One camera can now live stream in 360° from a concert, take immersive VR180 pictures of the band, and record your friends singing along to edit and share the full experience later. We’re giving users the freedom to spontaneously shoot content from all angles, or only a few, and we can’t wait to see what’s created with it.”
