AOC offer monitors to suit your seasonal upgrades

PDS2412017 is almost over and the holiday season is just around the corner. Some of you will be getting upgraded computer kit, whether for gaming or design. However, don’t overlook your monitor. Thankfully, AOC has a monitor for everyone.

We have reviewed and announcend many AOC monitors throughout the year. Most of what we’ve had at Gadgety HQ has been more aimed towards gamers, the lovely AGON series. But the compnay has much more to offer.

PDS Series – designed by Studio F. A. Porsche

Launched this spring, the PDS series represents the pinnacle of monitor design. This is thanks to its exceptional appearance conceptualised jointly with Studio F. A. Porsche.

PDS241The 24-inch PDS241 and the 27-inch PDS271 have the slimmest profile ever at 5.2 mm. While that is sinking in, that is even thinner than most smartphones.

These monitors boast the latest generation IPS panels with Full HD resolution, 4 ms GtG response time and a wide colour gamut of 100% sRGB and 90% NTSC support.

Those scores means that these monitors are not just a design object, but an object to design with as well!

Regarding that design, how good is its clean minimalistic look? This has been achieved by combining the necessary cables (power and signal) into the design of the stand itself.

The twisted look of the stand is inspired by the way cables naturally twist.

These connections run through the stand and end up in a modular box, where they are separated again.

Together, with an almost frameless design on 3-sides, you can dive right into the brilliant images.
