Apple Portable Device ‘Confirmed’ and 3 New iPhones – More Rumours

There’s plenty-many words going around the interweblogosphere that state firmly that an Apple “portable device” is in the pipe-line.

According to new sources we could be looking at an Apple Tablet or iPod Touch Pro and not a MacBook nano.

The Apple Netbook rumours have gone a little cold of late and the iPhone ones have hotted up but the Apple Portable whispers are back and thanks to the of the Wall Street Journal.

The WSJ reports that an Apple portable device is definitely in the works and that:

“People privy to the company’s strategy say Apple is working on new iPhone models and a portable device that is smaller than its current laptop computers but bigger than the iPhone or iPod Touch.”

That would point to an Apple portable with a large touchscreen, rather than the Apple netbook Asian sources have claimed is incoming.

Other news sources(Commercial Times) are saying that:

There will be 3 new iPhones released in June. A2.75G (which Slashgear interprets as EDGE) version, an upgraded 3G version and a China-oriented model, possibly to support a Chinese CDMA carrier.

The question remains: Are we gonna see a new Apple portable device as soon as WWDC in June?

If that is the case then the conference is going to be a doozy!
