Meters M-Ears Bluetooth: AptX HD wireless earphones
Meters Music has been in touch to tell us about their new M-Ears Bluetooth headphones, packing AptX HD for the best wireless audio.
These new compact and stylish wireless in-ear headphones boast sound performance designed in collaboration with Adam Clayton.
Meters M-Ears Bluetooth
The M-Ears Bluetooth are among the first on the market to use the new AptX HD Bluetooth technology. They are equipped with 7mm drivers, with a frequency response of 20Hz – 20kHz.
This tech delivers the very highest quality wireless transmission. This enables any compatible device to deliver up to 24-bit, High Definition (HD) audio, that’s better than CD. Morevoer, this is squirted direct to your headphones and without the need for a cable.
The M-Ears Bluetooth earphones are the perfect companion for both running and commuting. Also, they’re just as able for when you want to relax and enjoy your music at the highest possible audio quality.
Furthermore, the sound performance of the M-Ears Bluetooth was developed in close collaboration with world-famous musician Adam Clayton.
The earphones have three function keys for adjusting volume, skipping racks, play/pausing and answering calls. A charge LED indicator and a micro USB charger input (which can also be used as an audio output for wired use) are also included.
Additionally, they utilise magnets that clip the two earbuds together when you’re not using them. These magnets are strong enough to hang on the back of your neck while not in use, for a completely tangle-free headphones experience and very easy transitions when you’re using them while running or exercising at the gym.
The Meters Music team brings a magnificent heritage of musical sound reproduction to bear in the design of its headphones. In its guise as parent company, Ashdown Engineering, the team has for 20 years created bass and guitar amplifiers for many of the world’s most popular musicians, such as Sir Paul McCartney, Foo Fighters, Biffy Clyro, System of a Down and many more.
Words from Adam Clayton
Speaking of his creative partnership with the Meters team, Clayton said:
I love the Ashdown team’s approach to sound. I’ve been using their bass amps in the studio and on tour for years now, and the sound I get from them is superb. So, I was very happy to work with them on the development and tuning of their new ‘M-Ears’ headphones.”
