Heroes Never Lose – A hero action puzzler with a super-powered twist
Osama Dorias from Heroes Never Lose shared some very awesome information with me about their upcoming game.
Forget Farm Heroes Saga, Candy Crush and Bejeweld. We’ve got something for you that will blow you away and makes you forget about those other games. And it’s called: Heroes Never Lose: Professor Puzzler’s Perplexing Ploy, or in short Heroes Never Lose, or as the developers call it HNL:PPPP!!
The game is now on Kickstarter and a PS4/Vita strechgoal will be added soon. The guys at Heroes Never Lose are very eager to bring the games to these platforms, and need your support for it!
About the game:
Heroes Never Lose: Professor Puzzler’s Perplexing Ploy is a hero themed action-puzzle game with a super-powered twist!
Players go head to head lining up blocks into combos or chains and initiate their character’s super attacks to bury their opponent in blocks.
The gameplay is reminiscent of other action-puzzlers such as Puyo Puyo, Dr. Mario, and Puzzle Fighter. However, the choice of characters affects the strategies and gameplay significantly as characters charge up their super bars to unleash unique and devastating attacks on their opponents, such as:
A Blizzard that freezes the blocks on the opponent’s screen, causing them to lock to the grid and become a real nuisance!
… or an inferno that sets some blocks on fire, watch out or the fire will spread out of control!
The game also features an Online Multiplayer mode, a unique fusion of a PixelArt style with modern hi-res effects, a kicking soundtrack, and much more!
Heroes Never Lose: Professor Puzzler’s Perplexing Ploy is off to a great start and the team is looking forward to sharing it with the world! The action-puzzler introduces the concept of character specific attacks (specials and supers) that can be activated to affect the opponent’s grid. As opposed to most competitive action-puzzlers where players can almost entirely focus on their own grid, the special and super attacks in HNLPPPP work best when timed to counter opponent strategies! Players who can keep an eye on their opponents will excel!
