New BlackBerry Product List Uncovered

Ok CrackBerry fans!

BGR has managed to grab some initial specs as well as product code names for some up-and-coming BlackBerry devices!

The BlackBerry products that are being tested and tweaked have the manly aftershave sounding names of Onyx, Driftwood and Magnum.

Grrrrrr!

BGR ‘acquired’ the name list that is in all probability a list of three different code names for one product – chances are to be sold by different carriers

Well, have a look – they are pretty close according to the spec sheets:

BlackBerry Onyx:

* GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS device
* GPS
* Camera
* Wi-Fi (no UMA support)
* QWERTY keyboard
* 480×360 resolution screen
* Confirmed carriers: AT&T

BlackBerry Driftwood:

* GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS device
* GPS
* Camera
* Wi-Fi with UMA
* QWERTY keyboard

BlackBerry Magnum:

* GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS device
* GPS
* Camera
* Wi-Fi (no UMA support)
* QWERTY keyboard
* 480×360 resolution screen
* Confirmed carriers: AT&T

Apparently these are all 9000-series BlackBerry devices with 3G.

No release dates or such have been released but hey – it’s my job to give you the news as I get it, right?
