Synology has launched their new DiskStation DS119j. This is a compact, energy-efficient 1-bay NAS. This could make an ideal first NAS for your home or office. Furthmore, as it only measures 166 mm x 71 mm x 224 mm , it won’t need much space to work.
NAS, or Network Attached Storage, is an excellent way of not only storing your digital files but enabling access to those files from anywhere in the world.

Synology is a renowned brand that produces high-quality NAS drive enclosures. Their latest offering is a single bay drive, meaning that it takes a single 3.5-inch hard drive. It can also fit a 2.5-inch drive with an optional adapter.
The new DiskStation is powered by a 64-bit Marvell Armada 3700 88F3720
Additionally, the DiskStation DS119j will accept a single volume up to 108TB.

DS119j runs on DiskStation Manager, the intuitive operating system for Synology NAS devices. This software offers various applications to enhance work productivity.
