Windows 8 Public Beta Ready to Download with Free Apps Too!
It has finally arrived! The Windows 8 consumer preview is now available to download.
We’ve seen the new logo and, after being teased, Microsoft have made good their pledge to deliver the Windows 8 preview in February – well, ok, March 1st 😉
The public beta can be downloaded from Microsoft’s website – have a USB flash drive or writable DVD ready as you’ll need one or t’other in order to install it.
The Windows 8 consumer preview features Metro-style applications and over 100,000 changes to the developer preview released last year.
All of the apps in the Windows 8 app store will be free to download when using the consumer preview – which is very cool of the Big M dontcha think?
