ESPN Goals – All the Premiership Goals Before Anyone Else Right in Your Android!
I’ve recently got my hands on a rather nice Sony Experia X10 and, even though my ‘home team’ is Barnsley, I decided to download the ESPN Goals app. Just look at a certain pic in the gallery and you’ll see what I mean 😉
ESPN Goal does exactly what it says on the tin – it keeps you up to date with all the goals in the Premier League as well as the others.
The app itself is free, but you will have to pay if you want to see all the back of the net action. For that you’ll have to fork out for a 30-day pass at £3.99, a 90-day will spank your wallet to the tune of £10.99 or you can subscribe for the whole season for £29.99.
It’s pretty good value to get video of every goal from every Premier League match before they are available anywhere else – even before Match of The Day! It’s also a darned sight cheaper than a season ticket – even to see Barnsley!
Goals will be shown “usually within minutes” although on Saturdays between 2.45pm and 5.15pm there is a Premier League blackout and you’ll have to wait until that’s over before seeing the goals from the 3pm kick-offs. Plenty of time for a pie and some pints then 😉
Unfortunately you can’t play the action over and over as you only get to see the goals once. But that’s only a little niggle to put up with when this is the only app that shows the Premier League goals.
As well as match action, you’ll get all the usual footie-based app stuff including league tables, live scores (minute-by-minute), news, video clips and a pretty comprehensive stats centre with individual player’s data.
You also get to chose which team you support so you can show your faith 🙂
