Apple AirPlay 2 added to Bang & Olufsen speakers
In January 2018, Bang & Olufsen announced that Apple AirPlay 2, Apple’s wireless multiroom audio system, will be integrated into 10 Bang & Olufsen and B&O PLAY multiroom speakers.
AirPlay 2 allows Apple customers to send audio from any app to B&O’s multiroom speakers from their with an iPhone, iPad or Apple TV.
With this latest announcement from Apple on AirPlay 2, it will be available in August and September of this year.
With AirPlay 2, Bang & Olufsen and B&O PLAY speakers also work with HomePod, so you can use Siri to play music around the house.
