Brainwavz B400 quad balanced armature IEMs
Brainwavz has announced the availability of its B400 Quad Balanced Armature Earphones in the UK.
Not so long ago we reviewed their B200 ear pleasers. Well, the B400 follow their launch in the UK.
It looks like Brainwavz have again managed to offer audiophile-pleasing earphones at well below the expected price point.
I am looking forward to testing these when I can.
Brainwavz B400 IEMs
Firstly, as the B200 packed dual drivers, the Brainwavz B400 features a 4 driver setup.
Each driver has a specific job to do and range to produce. This means that we can expect true audiophile grade sound reproduction.
The B400 ergonomic housing is hand assembled by Brainwavz’s own team in its in-house workshop. We are told that every part has been scrutinised with quality control being given the top priority.
Furthermore, it will be interesting to some to discover that the majority of the components that make up the B400 are produced in USA or Europe. These include the Knowles drivers, the high purity OFC silver plated cabling and the T100 tips.

Through meticulous tuning, customisation of drivers and crossover the B400 is able to produce every part of the sound spectrum accurately. Also, thanks to the 3D printed boots, the audio is further refined an possess a wide sound stage.
Moreover, Brainwavz tells us that the B400 has been tuned to meet the needs of true audiophiles and is suitable for any genre of music.
Additionally, the B400 earphones are accompanied by two detachable MMCX cables, including a 2.5mm balanced cable, numerous silicone tips and a stylish carrying case to protect the earphones.

The Brainwavz Quad Balanced Armature B400 earphones are available for £144.43.
The B400 are available in eight different colours. These include Blue Knight, Berry Purple, Punk Pink, Crimson Red, Stay Frosty, Green Rage, Glossy Black and Cosmic Black.
Finally, it is also possible to upgrade the cable when purchasing with Candy Cane, Frosty and Onyx available.
