HTC smartwatch Halfbeak leaked photos

HTC smartwatch face halfbeakThe latest Android Wear HTC smartwatch has broken cover in a leaked photo-session.

The upcoming wrist-friendly device, codenamed Halfbeak, leaked on the Chinese social network Weibo back in October. It has been pretty quiet since then.

Thankfully, for those awaiting further details, a whole heap of new photos have popped up, again on Weibo, showing the watch in all its glory.

The photos show a circular watch-face, with two buttons on the right-hand side, marked by two arrows.

You might also notice the Under Armour logo which points to a tie-in with the fitness fashion brand. This would make sense, since the two companies collaborated on the UA Healthbox platform back in 2016.

The display is 360×360 resolution, which is a little higher than the Moto 360 V2 display, but lower res than the Huawei Watch’s display.

This might just be being used on this possible test device though. I would still expect a new device to come sporting Android Wear 2.0.

Fingers crossed that HTC spills some more deets at Mobile World Congress, next month in Barcelona.
