Haier shows network of smart home connected appliances
Haier unwrapped its exciting range of connected and touch screen controlled home appliances at IFA 2017.
It won’t be long until we are all living with smart appliances. Not only will we be able to control them from anywhere in the world, they will be able to suggest meals, trouble-shoot, and cut down on wastage.
Furthermore, these devices will no doubt be pinging off analytical data back to the manufacturer and support companies.
These latest products from Haier are equipped with high-tech features without a compromise on quality and design.
Link Cook Series: a brand new line of connected refrigerators
Haier offers an advanced range of refrigerators, each equipped with a simple and intuitive interface that gives practical information on the product with its integrated sensors.
The contents of the refrigerator can be recognised using cameras cleverly integrated in the door.
This will allow you to check the freshness, expiration dates and food’s nutritional quality.
In addition, Link Cook appliances will suggest recipes based on the refrigerator’s contents in order to avoid unnecessary food wastage. I like that a lot. This will definintely cut down those blank moments of staring in to the fridge trying to cobble a meal together.
With its easy-to-use interface, the refrigerator also becomes a communication and entertainment tool for the entire household. Here you can access online cooking recipes, weather forecast, radio, social networks, TV, email access, etc.
Haier Duo Dry – the smart way to do laundry
The Haier Duo Dry is a washer and dryer that revolutionised the way people do their laundry. I love its double drum and unique washing and dryer functions.
Through Wi-Fi, the Duo Dry offers its customers the option of monitoring their laundry’s progress in real time on their smartphone. You can therefore remotely programme and control washing cycles from wherever they are.
Furthermore, with to the Duo Dry’s 7-inch touchscreen and highly intelligent interface, consumers can be guided by the washing machine on which cycle to use. Here there’s automatic dosing, suggestion of an appropriate programme according to the level of dirt in the linen, etc. This interface received the Red Dot Design Award.
Amazon Dash built in
Additionally, the Haier Duo Dry incorporates Amazon’s Dash Replenishment function.
This service allows the washing machine to detect the level of detergent still available and to anticipate the level of replenishment required via an automated control.
Detergent, descaler and softener are therefore automatically ordered online before you run out on supplies!
Haier U+ SMART HOME ecosystem
For the first time in Europe, Haier will preview a demonstration of interconnected devices at their IFA stand.
This will allow visitors to experience the innovations made possible by the Haier U+ SMART HOME platform, a system that allows household appliances to interact with each other.
For cooking, the oven is automatically programmed depending on which recipe has been selected via the refrigerator screen. The cooker hood is also equipped with a screen that displays the chosen recipe.
These innovations demonstrate once again Haier’s ability to design practical solutions inspired by its unique “Zero Distance” strategy of constantly listening to its consumers and anticipating their needs and desires.
