Wearable Technology Show 2016 – what to expect
This year’s Wearable Technology show was pretty darned good but next year’s is already shaping up to be something very special.
I really enjoyed The Wearable Technology Show 2015 with my favourite items being the Damson Headbones and the UBand from Practech but there were other names of note there including Withings and Samsung to name but two more.
March 15-16 2016 will see more than 6,000 delegates come together at London’s ExCel conference centre to hear from some of the top names in wearables, augmented reality and Internet of Things (IOT).
That’s right, not only will you be able to enjoy The Wearable Technology Show, you get The Augmented Reality Show – Europe’s largest independent event for AR, VR and development tools – and 2016 sees the launch of the IOT Connect Show.
All these events gives visitors the perfect opportunity to discover the future of the connected world and hear from some of the leading experts, watch demonstrations of the latest products and network with others in the industry.
The Wearable Technology Show 2016 boasts 9 different conference tracks:

Getting to The Wearables Technology Show 2016
ExCel is perfectly situated with no less than three dedicated Docklands Light Railway (DLR) stations, easy access to the London Underground (Jubilee line), parking for 3,700 cars and London City Airport right on its doorstep.
If you fancy something a little different, why not scoot over on The Emirates Air Line, the cable car that connects ExCeL London and The O2 (5-minute crossing)?
For onward travel into central London use Thames Clipper services from the O2 to all major London piers, including Greenwich, Canary Wharf, Tower, London Bridge, Embankment and Waterloo.
You can even use your Oyster Card on the cable car.
If you’re coming in from outside of London and looking to stay for both days then you’re going to need somewhere to stay – thankfully there’s plenty of choice.
You could stay in Bloomsbury and be at the exhibition centre within an hour – that means you can be closer to the shops, bars, restaurants and other joys of central London as well as being easily in reach of ExCel. That’s a win all ways round.
