Mixcder E8 noise-cancelling headphones UK availability

Mixcder, is today pleased to announce the availability of their E8 headphones. These feature the company’s latest advancements in ANC (active noise cancelling) tech.

Following the Mixcder E7, the predicatively named E8 are now available in the UK.

You can expect updates in order to deliver superior noise-cancelling performance and audio quality. Additionally, there is also the convenience of them being wireless.

The new sleek silhouette of the E8 paired with premium, soft foam pads combine style with exceptional comfort.

The Mixcder E8 Bluetooth headphones are built with a hybrid ANC technology. This uses a recently developed system that works in a wider frequency range in the low to midrange frequencies than most ANC designs. The result is an improved degree of noise cancellation. Additionally, the improved isolation brings in better noise cancellation outside the active range.

How this all works is that when an incoming noise is detected by the headphones, a digital signal processor (DSP) analyses the sound waves and creates inverse waves to cancel out the ambient sound. Simple to activate, just switch on the ANC button on the left ear cup, and you shut out the world.

Performance

The E8 is equipped with 40mm drivers for a powerful, wideband frequency response from 20Hz-20,000Hz. We are told that they possess “impactful bass, a rich and detailed midrange and clear, extended treble”.

The CSR Bluetooth and drivers balance sound perfectly, especially in low frequency. Their “crisp sound” is good up to 102 decibels, according to the spec sheet.

Comfort

The E8’s large-circumference ear cups are made of aluminium. This not only improves sound quality but also provides a premium, high end look. The memory-foam ear cup padding is wrapped in soft pseudo leather and should be comfortable to wear for long periods of time. Furthermore, the rotatable, extendable arms offer flexibility of fit. The ear cups fold down flat for easy packing and the bundled robust and durable carry case will protect your cans when not in use.

Stamina

The Mixcder E8 has a battery life of around 18 hours. This will see you good for most journeys. However, when the battery is low, you can continue to listen to music with ANC for 40 hours in total by plugging in the included 3.5mm audio cable.

If not using ANC, the device will function as a normal wired headphone – ideal for those who often forget to charge their headphones!
