Asus Transformer Book T100 Windows 8.1 convertible tablet announced
Asus has announced the launch of their new Windows 8 Tablet / laptop convertible – the Asus Transformer Book T100.
The Asus Transformer Book T100 is based around a 10.1-inch IPS display that has a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels and every is pushed along by Intel’s Bay Trail Atom processor which has been specially designed for tablets.
Other specifications on the device include 32gB of built in storage, and it will comes with Microsoft’s Windows 8.1, it also features 2GB of RAM and a 1.2 megapixel front camera.
CNET got some hands-on time with the tablet/laptop hybrid and felt that it “performed briskly when swiping through Windows tiles, and apps seemed to open without much delay”
The Asus Transformer Book T100 will launch in October for $349 (around £220) which includes the tablet and keyboard.
