Polaroid Z2300 Social Media Sharing Instant Picture Printing Compact Camera Released – UK Price
Polaroid has announced the newest addition to the instant camera range, with the Z2300 landing with an integrated inkless ZINK technology printer, allowing users to print their snaps instantly.
The Polaroid Z2300 instant camera might well be the perfect combination of retro looks and modern functionality.
The first thing I noticed is that it has more than a hint of the ’80s about it. I’m thinking Sinclair ZX Spectrum 😉
Flip it over and it gets all modern again with a three-inch LCD screen which makes it easy to review, edit and frame images before printing.
The pocket snapper is also capable of recording video with integrated speakers enabling instant playback. SD card storage allows for quick transfer options.
The Z2300 packs a 10-megapixel sensor which can instantly print out your snaps using the built-in Zink Technology printer – these photos are 2×3-inches.
If you want to stay digital you can also upload images to social media sites, of course.
With a 10-megapixel image sensor and the capability to produce full colour 2×3-inch prints in under a minute, the Z2300 is perfect for instant photography enthusiasts who also want to keep their Friends and Followers updated with what they’re doing.
“Polaroid invented instant photography, and for the past 75 years the brand has been synonymous with instant gratification, ease-of-use and fun,” said Graeme Chapman, MD of Polaroid’s sole UK imaging licensee C&A Marketing. He went on to say that “The Z2300 represents the next step in the evolution of that proud tradition and it was designed to fully integrate the classic Polaroid instant photography experience into today’s digital, social world.”
Available in black or white, the Polaroid Z2300 is due to be released in August. Expect to pay around £129.99. Preorder from Polaroid.co.uk until the end of July.
