Acer Iconia Tab A700 HD Tablet UK Price Revealed

The Acer Iconia Tab A700 is a 10-inch, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, quad-core HD tablet. We already know quite a bit about it except the price. Now we know that too!

We have all seen the very impressive spec sheet as well as the lovely pictures – that’s all very well but how much is going to cost?

We know that it’s powered by a 1.3GHz Tegra 3 quad-core processor, packs 1GB of RAM, and is equipped with a lucious 1920 x 1200 pixel display, micro HDMI port and dual cameras – but is the price going to be painful?

Well, according to a German site, the Iconia Tab A700 will be available at €549 for the entry-level 16GB model and €749 for the 64GB model. Converted in to the coin of the realm that works out at around £460 and £630 respectively.

Not bargain basement, admittedly, but you are getting quite a lot of bang for your buck – and you’ll be able to enjoy the new BBC News app for Android tablets too!

The A700 will be released in the second quarter of this year.
