Audeze LCD-2 Classic refreshed headphones
Audeze has reinvented a Classic with new updated-spec LCD-2 headphones at a more affordable price. Please welcome the LCD-2 Classic.
Audeze are well respected for their high-end, Audiophile headphones. Furthermore, their LCD-2 are firm favourites.
The company has decided it’s time for an update. Better still, along with a fresh specification comes a new entry-level suggested retail price.
Audeze LCD-2 Classic
The new headphones keep the over-ear, open-back design as before. They are also loaded with advanced planar-magnetic technology.
Additionally they are equipped with a lightweight suspension headband, special crystal-infused nylon rings, and redesigned audio jacks.
Moreover, the LCD-2C headphones retain the rich sound signature of the original LCD2.
The original LCD-2 headphones came with a travel case; this is now available as an optional extra for the LCD-2 Classic. This is one area where Audeze has managed to reduce the cost to their customers.
Audeze plug-ins
Those using the new Classics to master their own music can further benefit from Audeze REVEAL. This is a set of free software plug-ins that can be used for mixing and mastering on your headphones with confidence.

Price and availability
The LCD-2 Classic will be available in the UK later this month from a range of hi-fi stockists, with a suggested retail price of £599.
