Awesome ARKONIK KOOP D110 Land Rover
If you think that Land Rovers can’t be luxurious as well as rugged, then you need to check out ARKONIK’s KOOP.
The latest in automotive fine craftsmanship to roll out of ARKONIK’s garage in Somerset, UK, is a trail-ready Land Rover Defender 110, dubbed the KOOP.
ARKONIK KOOP D110
The KOOP D110 has been commisioned by a client in Ohio, USA. The brief was that they wanted a classic Defender to cruise the wooded trails of his family’s farm.
So, to this end, the KOOP is based on a 1986 model Defender that’s been stripped down and rebuilt from the bottom up.
This mud-hungry 4×4 is powered by a 3.5 V8. Further interesting tweaks are the Terrafirma suspension with a 2-inch lift kit and KAHN 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich AT tyres.
Additionally, there’s the Puma bonnet, winch bumper, twin-cat LED headlights, KBX signature grille and wing-top vents. Also, Hella Rally Xenon HID spotlights, WARN Zeon 12-S winch, a Front Runner roof rack with spotlights and rear ladder. The list goes on.
Inside
The interior is just as tricked out as the exterior.
The cabin has been treated to diamond leather trim. There are modular heated front seats, 3 premium high back centre row seats and benches in the load area.
The owner’s hands get to grip an Evander wooden rim steering wheel as well as having control of the Pioneer premium sound system.
Finally, the KOOP is finished with a fungus green exterior and brown leather interior. Well, it is the signature scheme for that unmistakable forest country look.
