The Bristol Hi-Fi Show 2019 – renamed, more focused
For more than 30 years The Bristol Sound & Vision Show has simply been known as The Bristol Show. Next year sees it officially renamed The Bristol Hi-Fi Show.
The slight name tweak is indication that the Bristol Show it returning to its audio roots.

The organisers of the show have told us that, in previous years, manufacturers have used the show to display home-cinema and vision products. Moreover, they have noticed that, more recently, the event had seen a return to two-channel hi-fi. This perhaps underlines the sometimes circular nature of the industry. Also, it sees the show return to its roots when it started out as a two-channel event called Hi-Fi ’87.
However, you will still get the opportunity to visit well-known AV brands. It is just that they will make up a smaller percentage of the whole show.
Touted as the largest and longest-running consumer hi-fi show in the UK, the event is held every February, at the Marriott City Centre Hotel in Bristol.
Next year’s show – the 32nd – will take place from Friday, February 22nd to Sunday, February 24th.
