HTC Holiday Leaked – Big Phone, Big Specs
It’s getting increasingly difficult to keep up with HTC phone releases and it seems that the popular phone cobbler is not showing any sign of slowing down. The latest handset, the HTC Holiday, is coming close to blurring the boundary between phone and tablet.
The Holiday is being pitched for release over this year’s Christmas season and the supposed specs are quite stunning.
The impressive line-up of a 1.2GHz dual-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM is pretty darned special but it’s the screen that has caught my attention – that beast is 4.5-inches across!
Granted, it will be well suited for viewing your snaps and video taken using the HTC Holiday’s 8-Megapixel camera which is paired with a flash but really? 4.5-inches?
The front facer is a 1.3-megapixel unit by-the-way.
At the moment word has it that it will be running Android 2.3.4 (Gingerbread), but as it could be used as a mini tablet, it might come rocking Ice Cream Sandwich.
It’s scheduled to drop in on the USA via AT&T with no news about a UK release. Perhaps the US have larger pockets…..
