Google Android 6.0 Key Lime Pie to Follow Jelly Bean
The latest word is that Android 5.0, also known as Jelly Bean, will arrive this autumn but it sounds as though Android 6.0 has already been named.
Jelly Bean was first noted on this site back in September and may join Windows 8 on the tablet battlefield against iPad 3 as well as giving all Android phones webtop smarts.
Now, it has been rumoured that Android 6.0 has been dubbed Key Lime Pie.
This leaked news follows Google’s dessert-based naming scheme but there’s no official confirmation from the Big G and therefor no details on specs.
I would guess that Key Lime Pie, for want of a better name, will land in 2013 as Jellybean will be appearing in the latter half of this year.
As for Android 7.0 – will it be Lollipop, Liquorice, Lardy Cake or Lemon Meringue Pie?
