Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro leak shows new skills
Samsung has scheduled its Unpacked event on August 23rd where the Galaxy Note 8 should appear. However, it seems that Sammy may also be outing their new wearable.
According to latest reports, Samsung is also expected to reveal the fitness-oriented Gear Fit 2 pro wearable device at their Unpacked event.
The Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro will actually be the third fitness tracker from the Korean company. The wearable will be powered by the company’s Tizen operating system.
Gear Fit 2 Pro updates
Where the Gear Fit 2 came with IP-68 certification, the Pro packs 5 ATM water resistance allowing users to use it while swimming.
Thanks to its new amphibious nature, the fitness watch will also sync up with the Speedo On app for aquatic tracking.
Moving the Gear Fit 2 Pro beyond basic fitness bands is it music capabilities. Music playback will be a feature, including support for offline Spotify tracks.
Like its predecessor, the new version will also include GPS functionality.
The Fit 2 Pro also features an updated strap that will stay put even during the most rigorous of workouts.
