Nokia 8 pre-orders include Nokia Steel smartwatch – CPW

Carphone Warehouse has announced a special pre-order offer for the Nokia 8.

I am still not sure about the term “bothie”, but the rest of the Nokia 8 does look lovely.

I am, of course, talking about the Zeiss optics-equipped rear and front cameras, polished aluminium unibody and Snapdragon 835 SoC.

Furthermore, there’s the Quad HD-capable 5.3-inch screen pushing out 2560 x 1440 pixels.

The Nokia 8 sports dual 13MP rear-facing camera lenses, 64GB internal storage, and 4GB RAM.

It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat software with a 3090mAh battery supplying charge.

Additionally, it’s only 7.9mm thin.

If you get it from Carphone Warehouse you are promised it’ll be ready for delivery by September 13.

Available in silver or blue with 64GB of storage, the handset costs £499.99 outright. Not only that, you also get a Nokia Steel smartwatch included in to the deal!

If that’s too rich for your blood, you can dish out £9.99 upfront, then £34 per month, with a new carrier plan, and still get the stylish fitness-focused wearable device at no additional fee.

The smartwatch, originally marketed as Withings Steel, is typically worth £119.95.

This wrist-based fitness monitor covers everything from steps taken to distance covered, calories burned, sleep patterns and even swim sessions. Furthermore, you can even dunk it in up to 50m of water.

Seems a pretty sweet deal to me.
