AOC G2590FX gaming monitor packs a punch without hurting your pocket
AOC is shouting about their new monitor, the G2590FX. It promises to please budget-conscious gamers with its 24.5-inch TN panel, 1 ms response time, 1920×1080 Full HD resolution, impressive 144 Hz refresh rate and AMD Radeon FreeSync support.
The newest addition to AOC’s G90 mainstream gaming monitor family certainly ticks the boxes. However, it has a lot to live up to as it joins the popular 24.5-inch G2590VXQ and G2590PX as well as the 27-inch G2790PX that joined the G90 fam at the end of last year.

AOC’s G90 Series launched in December 2017.
Offered as entry-level, but fully capable gaming monitors the G90 series quickly gained praise from many gamers. Furthermore, this lead it to receiving multiple awards and positive reviews. We’ve certainly been impressed by the specs.
Now, AOC has decided to extend the G90 Series with the G2590FX. Its 24.5-inch TN panel boasts 1920×1080 Full HD resolution at 144 Hz refresh rate, with a 1 ms response time. Boasting a 400 cd/m² brightness and improved viewing angles (170/160) ensures a comfortable gaming experience.
The now customary 3-sided frameless design gives the monitor a premium feel and enables seamless multi-monitor setups. The simple yet elegant foot of G2590FX offers wide tilt adjustment from -3.5° to 21.5° and supports 100×100 mm VESA mounting for plentiful positioning options.
Budget-conscious but feature-rich
It may be an entry-level monitor, but the G2590FX keeps on giving.
The FreeSync technology allows the synchronisation of the monitor’s refresh rate with the rendered framerate output of supported AMD GPU’s. This means no stutter nor tearing caused by mismatched frames.
Additionally, to help protect your peepers, the G2590FX boasts FlickerFree technology to eradicate flicker and Low Blue Light mode to keep harmful short wavelength blue light filtered out.
The G2590FX is equipped with VGA, DisplayPort 1.2 and 2 x HDMI 1.4 display inputs, enabling legacy and current devices to easily connect.
