Thermaltake Core V1 Snow Edition case packs double decker smarts for liquid cooling
Thermaltake has just added a new mini ITX chassis to its range of cases and it comes in very fashionable white – here’s the lovely-looking Thermaltake Core V1 Snow Edition Chassis.
The Core V1 Snow Edition looks to be a very flexible Mini ITX case thanks to some very sensible and well designed features.
The new case is equipped with smart interchangeable side panels enabling users to flip the orientation of components to provide either superior liquid cooling or superb airflow, says Thermaltake.
The Core V1 Snow chassis is divided into two main chambers: the upper chamber is where your motherboard, graphics card and cooling system lives leaving downstairs for power and cable management.
The new mini case from Thermaltake can fit four drives, with two removable 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch drive bays available. The ability to remove drive bays as needed allows you to slot in dual expansion video cards up to 260mm in length. The bottom half accommodates PSUs up to 180mm, leaving 80mm for routing cables.
You can fit CPU coolers as tall as 140mm in to the 276 x 260 x 316mm case. If you’re looking to go with an AIO liquid-cooled setup, radiators up to 140mm in length can fit into the chassis. As well as the huge 200mm fan at the front you can slot in two 80mm fans at the back.
I/O connectivity is in the form of two USB 3.0 ports on the side of the front panel, along with HD audio connectors and power/reset buttons.
It looks like the Thermaltake Core V1 Snow Edition is up for pre-order for £40 inc VAT which is pretty decent. I am tempted to order one for my next project.
