D-Link DCS-936L HD Wi-Fi camera announced

D-Link has just announced a new security camera. The DCS-936L will monitor your room through a wide-angle lens and 720p quality.

The new D-Link HD Wi-Fi Camera, DCS-936L, features a 720p sensor with 4x digital zoom. It can record continuous, scheduled, or detection triggered video on to a microSD card (up to 128GB).

Camera features

The DCS-936L HD Wi-Fi Camera boasts a wide angle lens that will easily capture your entire room in high-quality 720p. The built-in night vision, motion and sound detection, ensures that your home will always be monitored.

The addition of a rotatable head means that the camera can be placed where you can, as well as where you want it to be. Whether that be mounted on a wall or the ceiling.

The DCS-936L also features a Wi-Fi signal locator to help you choose the best place to place the camera for an optimal connection.

Always see what’s happening

There is, of course, a free app but the camera will keep you updated other ways too. You can receive push notifications and/or emails with snapshots or video clips whenever the camera is triggered. Handy to know if it was a pet or intruded that set the camera off as soon as it happens.

You can also set up the camera to record only when motion or sound is detected – again, handy if you have pets.
